The product

Circl is a directly downloaded macOS utility for capturing a screen region, transcribing speech, and sending both to any AI app you choose, such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, Codex, Claude Code or Cursor. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Apple or the makers of any AI app it works with. Your access to third-party AI services and any usage charges are separate.

AI services

Circl has no hosted AI and no AI features of its own.

Trial and price

Circl is seven days free, then $6.99 USD per month, recurring until you cancel. A payment method is required. The checkout page will show the applicable amount before you subscribe. One subscription is for one person’s use of Circl.

Canceling and billing help

You can cancel through Manage billing before the end of your trial to avoid the first charge. Cancellation stops future renewals and leaves access through the end of the current trial or paid period. You can review invoices and payment details in the billing portal. Any rights you have under applicable consumer law remain unaffected.

Using Circl

Use Circl only with content and systems you’re authorized to access. Review your transcript and the receiving app before sending: speech recognition and clipboard automation can make mistakes. Compatibility and support limits are described on the website. App updates may be needed as macOS and the apps Circl sends to change.
